Handwoven & traditionally dyed

The exclusive silk and velvet fabrics are woven in small traditional manufactories in Uzbekistan. For generations, the fabrics, which are only 40 cm wide, have been produced using elaborate dyeing and weaving techniques, and the historical patterns have their origin in nature. For example, onion skins, red beets, walnut shells, and hibiscus flowers are used as dyes.
